Big “Do” ings

small bee hunnedo

I’ve been busy…really busy. While I’ve been busy taking on the vendor sales world, dabbling in waiting tables, and, as always, being Mommy; I’m still working on my internet project empire.

Okay, I’m not really working that much on the website.

Fortunately, my brilliant daughter Sara has stepped in using her super-power of web-design and innovation. Hunnedo.com has taken on a new look and feel. While many of the original elements remain, Sara has pushed it to the next level.

I am very pleased and excited to see this new trajectory, I hope you will too!

Five Photos, Five Stories: Day Five, Sara’s Easter

egg

Ritu from But I Smile Anyway invited me to participate in this challenge.

Five Photos, Five Stories. Like most challenges, it isn’t without rules, or better said, a loose set of guidelines:

  • Post a photo each day for five consecutive days
  • Attach a story to the photo.  It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or simply a short paragraph – it’s entirely up to you.
  • At the end of each day, nominate one other blogger to take part

For my Day Five nomination, I’m going to nominate jin okubu for my last nomination. Go get ’em Jin

Day Five: Sara’s Easter Egg

I can’t remember when it all began. My daughter Sara has turned dying Easter Eggs into her own artistic endeavor. Every year, it seems, the eggs are more lovely than the last. If you would like to know more about this, in Sara’s own words, head on over to hunnedo.com and check it out.

Five Photos, Five Stories: Day Four, Sonic the Hedgehog

Day Four: Upping the Ante on Halloween Costumes

For little Blondie’s second Halloween, I sewed his costume. He was Max from “Where the Wild Things Are”. wild maxHe roared his terrible roar. Since he was little, he didn’t solicit my mad costume making skills. Continue reading

*Update: Thank you to the four bloggers I am now featuring on my Pinterest Page for hunnedo, There is still some parking space left and, of course, you are welcome to follow as well. Please note, if you would like to be included on the board, your blog or website must be Pinterest enabled, meaning your content has a button or link to an active Pinterest account. As you can see, it could use some additions!

As I’ve mentioned in a previous blog, I have a pet project that is heavily tied in with Pinterest. The blog is called Hunnedo.com, to date, it is not yet live. There are quite a few coding bugs to address and a ton of content to add to it. Every day, I’ve been chipping away at my to do list, and that includes the Pinterest Page that is associated with it. A dreaming writer’s notes to a dream reader

Hello friend,

I’ve seen your pins on Pinterest, and I’ve taken a little peek into your hopes and dreams. I’ve peered into the tiny house, quaint cottage and stately mansion where your aspirations reside, I’ve admired your color schemes and the sweet raindrop shower that inhabits your bathroom, the hand sewn quilt that covers the bed where you dream.
